A 16 person VWGIS team starts at the company run
On Tuesday evening it was time for the VWGIS colleagues at the Hanover site: Ready, Steady and Go at the B2Run Hanover. Read more about the event and the runners in the article.
It's 7.15 pm on the north shore of the Maschsee. True to the motto: I @in't slow, I'm just ENYOING IT! the VWGIS team went to the start of the 6.5 km B2Run company run. A total of 11,500 enthusiastic runners were there that evening to take part in the sporting mega-event together.
The mood was exuberant and electrifying as the running team lined up at the starting line. The anticipation was palpable among all VWGIS colleagues as the countdown to the start fell. The atmosphere in the team was one of team spirit and motivation, as many companies encouraged numerous employees to run together.
The 6.5 km course led once around the Maschsee lake with a direct run into the Heinz von Heiden Arena in Hanover. Along the way, the VWGIS team was cheered on by other colleagues along the route with plenty of enthusiasm. The highlight was undoubtedly the finish into the stadium, which was accompanied by rapturous applause from the spectators and crowned with a medal at the end of the evening.
The fastest VWGIS runner that evening was Martin with a super time of 30 minutes and 39 seconds in total.
