VWGIS honoured for the third time in a row 

  • The seal recognises companies with high employee satisfaction and is awarded exclusively on the basis of independent reviews on kununu.
  • Only just under five per cent of all companies are recognised as a Top Company every year.

The employer rating platform kununu honours Volkswagen Group IT Solutions GmbH as a Top Company 2024. The award is based on the independent ratings of employees on the platform. This makes VWGIS one of the companies with the best working environment in Germany.

"We congratulate Volkswagen Group IT Solutions GmbH on receiving the Top Company Seal 2024," says Nina Zimmermann, CEO of kununu. "The award is given to employers with particularly good ratings on kununu. As only around five per cent of companies meet the qualification criteria, this is a very select group. Employers who are awarded the seal are not only characterised by recognition and appreciation, but also send a strong signal to talented people who are looking for the right company," Zimmermann continues.

Who receives the kununu Top Company Award?

To qualify for the kununu Top Company Seal 2024, a company must fulfil the following criteria:

  • At least seven reviews from employees since the profile was created. Reviews from applicants are not counted.
  • A score of at least 3.8 stars (out of a maximum of 5 possible), both overall and in the employee ratings.
  • In the past twelve months, the employee rating score must be at least 3.8 stars.
  • At least two new ratings in the last twelve months. An updated rating also counts as a new rating.

A study conducted by the market research company YouGov in September 2022 found that the Top Company seal is considered relevant or very relevant to applications by 45 per cent of all talented people when choosing a job. A survey conducted by kununu among companies that have been recognised as a Top Company also shows that using the Top Company seal in corporate communications can increase the number of incoming reviews by around 19 percent on average.

The corporate and leadership culture in particular play a decisive role in the kununu Top Company Award. Companies that cultivate an open and appreciative management culture create a positive working environment in which employees are motivated and committed. The company's culture, which promotes values such as transparency, team cohesion and continuous development, plays a key role in ensuring that employees find their work meaningful and fulfilling. The kununu Top Company Award 2024 therefore also recognises the creation of a working environment that attracts and retains talent.
