A reunion with joy at the Pune location
Extended management visits VWITS
On 11 September 2022, our Executive Board and HR Manager Antje Herrmann went to India for an international exchange with their colleagues from VWITS.
Together with the Indian managers, a first meeting took place at the Pune location. Besides getting to know each other, the future strategic orientation towards product-oriented IT and end-to-end responsibility in the team were discussed. Parallel to the restructuring of VWGIS, a new organisational structure will also be introduced for the Indian colleagues in order to achieve the set corporate goals.
A successful event for 100 IT graduates to start at VWITS
On the same day, the extended management team went to a welcome party for 78 IT graduates who celebrated their official start at VWITS in Pune. In addition to welcoming the former IT students, a panel discussion with Dr Stephan Fingerling, Sidharth Yadav and Soumi Alphons took place on the main stage around the topics of career and error culture.
Two days later, another event was held in Delhi to welcome 100 IT graduates with a supporting programme and welcome kits from VWITS.
Dirk Birke used the international visit to intensify discussions with the Finance and Controlling department, while Dr Stephan Fingerling was given the opportunity to open a hackathon event on the topic of sustainability and AI at the Pune location.
Antje Herrmann pushed the exchange with the HR, Legal and Communication team from India in order to share existing challenges and at the same time learn more about the Indian culture.
The last hours of the international visit were spent together with the Indian management team in Delhi. Here, the focus was on the expansion of office space and its design.
